2. System Permissions and Usage
To provide its core gaming optimization features, GBooster requests access to specific system-level permissions. These permissions are used strictly for local device optimization and never for data harvesting:
- Modify System Settings (WRITE_SETTINGS): Used exclusively to optimize screen brightness and adjust brightness modes for an improved visual experience during gaming sessions.
- Do Not Disturb Access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY): Used to silence incoming calls and notifications while a game is active, ensuring an uninterrupted focus engine.
- Appear on Top (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Used to display the Performance HUD (floating bubble) which provides real-time system metrics like network latency (Ping) and battery temperature.
- Query All Packages: Used to allow you to select and launch games from your list of installed applications.
3. Data Security
All optimizations and settings adjustments are performed locally on your device. No data is uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
4. Children's Privacy
GBooster does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we do not collect any personal data at all, we are fully compliant with children's privacy regulations.
